I think I may have been put on this Earth to redefine the definition of balance. For me, the verb balance is defined as creating space in your life to be able to listen to your natural inner wisdom.
My name is Stacey Hoffer Weckstein and I’m the creative source behind CreateaBalance.com.
CreateaBalance.com is the life balance blog for moms. My posts help moms move from mommy survival to mommy revival and I blog about wanting to live a more authentic, happy, energized, and balanced life (while also raising children).
When I became a working mom back in 2003, I knew I had to balance the needs of my inner authentic self with the needs of all the other things that demanded my time, attention, and energy. I am now committed to helping other moms balance their essential “me” time with everything else that demands their time, attention, and energy.
I believe life balance means different things for different people. For me, a life balance means…
- Finding moments of stillness,
- Finding time to work on my dreams,
- Connecting with my family, friends, and husband,
- Connecting with my evolving and growing authentic self,
- Paying it forward and serving others,
- Focusing on my fitness goals,
- Finding moments to escape from my daily routine.

I have been inspired by the courageous writers of our time to dare to answer this question as boldly as possible…..
BECAUSE… I am interesting, powerful, and unusual. I have so much to offer the world and this blog provides insight to human experiences that trigger emotions, thoughts, and discussions. I have stories to share with you and want to listen as you share and contribute to the CreateaBalance.com community. My words are raw and authentic. My words will not always be perfect, but they come from the heart as I explore the practice of life balance.
