The Art of Life Balance – Activity Included!

rocksEverything about YOU is interrelated. Your mind, body, and spirit, your social networks, your health and wealth, and your feelings about your living space all impact how you think, how you see the world, and how you see yourself. The difference between ignoring and focusing on these different areas is the same as choosing between losing yourself and living in a world of chaos versus embracing yourself and your passions.

The five cornerstones of creating a balance (self, relationships, health, wealth, and organization) allow you to integrate what matters most into your life. So the next obvious three questions I have for you are:

1. What matters most to you?

2. How are you currently incorporating what matters most into your life?

3. What’s missing from your life? Are you ready to create a balance and embrace what matters most?

I am an advocate of The Secret and believe what you focus on expands. Make a list of what you are currently doing to fill the needs of each of the Create a Balance cornerstones.

Relationships:

Health:

Wealth:

Organization:

Create a Balance is a practice for incorporating what matters most into your life. This practice helps you balance difference aspects of your life and makes you accountable to take action when one or more aspects of your life are being neglected.

I encourage you to write your answers in the comments section of this post.

I’m also a fan of The Secret, and I do believe that what you focus on expands. I’m also, however, not quite sure that it has anything to do with quantum physics. But that’s neither here nor there (what works, works).

Thanks, Stacey.

Thanks for the comment Clay. It is greatly appreciated. I’d be interested in learning about what you are doing to fill the needs of each of the Create a Balance cornerstones (Self, Relationships, Health, Wealth, and Organization).

One of my personal observations is that I need to consistently refill my “life balance buckets” and consistently remain focused. That is the trick and the challenge.
