Celebrating Time Away From My Computer

Today I celebrate the vacation I am taking from my computer. By the time you are reading this I will be far away from the online world. I’ll be exploring the wonder of old fashion pen to paper writing, I’ll be spending more time outdoors, and exploring the details of planet Earth.

During my online hiatus, two amazing bloggers will be taking care of my blog. Join them next week and continue exploring your practice of life balance.

Celebrating My Gratitude Attitude

Note to new readers: I keep a weekly online gratitude journal. Every Friday I write down seven things I am grateful for each week.

This week’s list appears simple and short, but my gratitude is beyond measure.

1. I am thankful for my computer.
2. I am thankful for the internet.
3. I am thankful for my blog.
4. I am thankful for knowing so many amazing bloggers.
5. I am thankful for being able to take a break from my computer.
6. I am thankful for the opportunity to play for 10 consecutive days.
7. I am thankful for my life.

This is Your Moment.

I welcome you to reflect on your week, see the goodness in your life, and share what you are grateful for in the comments section. I’m looking forward to reading your comments.

Enjoy your cyber-break! Can’t wait to see your guest blogger’s posts because if you have picked them, they must be amazing!

I am grateful for:

My body
My children
my husband
everyone in my life
God
sunshine
the cold because it reminds me to appreciate the sun more ;)
the support I have gotten from all my blogger buddies
my newfound muscles and the ability to move a body that used to be pretty much sedentary

Have a great break!

One thing that surprised me with pen and paper is how quickly my hand gets tired if I have to write much. I didn’t realize how used to the keyboard I got.

Enjoy your time away – I’ve been thinking about doing that, too.

This week I’m thankful for my understanding husband.
