@Lance - Thank you for sharing and for providing feedback. Your words remind me of one of my favorite quotes...
"Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light and not our darkness that most frightens us." ~ Marianne Williamson
Reading all of the comments from this post also makes me feel so ALIVE. All of the comments literally took my breath away. To me that means I am living bolding, authentically, and to the best of my ability.
I read what you write because your topics are my passions, your stories are engaging, the layout of your words is easy on my eyes, you inspire new thoughts and ideas for my own writing practice. I admire your writing style.

This is a very empowering post for me, Stacey. What makes it so is that it makes me think about my writing, and what it means. And to come up with a statement that speaks as to why you (you, in the general sense) should read what I write.
Why should people read what I write? I write from the heart. I am uplifting. I think we all have way more potential than we use. I elicit your thinking process.

OK, that was tough to do. I find it hard describing "why" I write. I feel like it's as though I'm trying to promote myself. But, really, deep down, it's a process to understand myself and my writing better.

I also think this is a brave post. Brave in that you are putting yourself out there - now what if you don't live up to those statements. For the record, I think you will. I love your response, it feels deeply personal. And that's powerful.

@Robin - It's really fun to be bold...and it also feels like standing on the edge of a cliff. That edge is where I feel ALIVE! From someone who reads your writing, I most definitely consider you to be a thought provoking writer.
@Vered - Thanks Vered. Promoting myself is such a raw and vulnerable experience. Yet at the same time, it is so liberating and makes me feel ALIVE. The excitement of living past my fears is exhilarating.

I love this post.
Women often have a hard time doing what you just did: promoting themselves.
I am proud of you.

Hi there Stacey
I haven't been visiting your blog for very long, but I get the feeling from the flow of your words that they are indeed powerful and authentic. Good on you for daring to answer the question boldly!
To answer the question myself - I don't think of myself as a writer, really. I would probably tell my stories more by talking - though I have been starting to see myself as a writer since doing my blog.
Cheers - Robin
