As you know, every Friday I introduce and celebrate new members of the Create a Balance community. Please take a moment to welcome this week’s new members…..

Celebrating My Gratitude Attitude

Here are my gratitude journal entries for the week.

  1. Celebrating Hanukkah with my family.
  2. The one day in December when it was over 50 degrees outside.
  3. People taking my survey over at the Create a Balance Brainstorming Party.
  4. My oldest son’s stomach bug didn’t last too long.
  5. My youngest son’s funky dotty rash was not the chicken pox.
  6. Being caffeine-free for 4 days (the migraines are finally gone).
  7. Finally eating healthy again after a week of latke mania.

As always, I welcome you to reflect on your week,
see the goodness in your life, and
share what you are grateful for in the comments section.

This is Your Moment to Celebrate!

  • Hi Stacey,
Okay, let me just say the latke’s look delicious (I’m not sure if I’m writing it correctly…)! And…the coffee removal must be going well – 4 days – woot! And healthy kids – this all sounds like reason for celebration!

Me – I’m starting a forum this week, and that’s exciting! Also, I’m enjoying several days of NOT running somewhere with three kids – Christmas break rocks! And…for the opportunity to spend some time at a cabin in the woods – relaxing, laughing, and just taking it easy – was wonderful!

  • Hi Stacey. 4 days without caffeine — good for you! That’s a toughie and definitely worth celebrating. Yesterday I helped my boyfriend’s dad celebrate his 85th birthday! This was a special celebration as he’d been in the hospital a week before Christmas after having a heart attack. He’s recovering well.

  • You just can’t beat gratitude for an overall remedy for what ails ya.
It’s one of the most powerful tools available and you are very good at expressing it. Best to you in 09.

  • Stacey, my blogging life went completely awry when I tried to upgrade to 2.7WP and I am still struggling to get it all working properly by reverting to 2.6.5. I am grateful for having been able to at least get the blogging going though the comment system in my blog is misbehaving.

  • Hi, Happy New Year!
It’s my honor to be here. Hello my new friends ^_^

  • Lance – Latkes are delicious and fattening! Your forum is exciting and I look forward to being part of the conversation. And your cabin in the woods sounds heavenly!

J.D. – Thanks! Happy New Year (from a River Person).

Davina – Every day I consider drinking caffeinated coffee again, but I’m standing strong and feel great about my decision. We just celebrated my dad’s 83rd birthday and I’m happy to know your boyfriend’s father is feeling better.

Tom – My gratitude journal is a true joy. I strongly recommend having one (and it doesn’t take long to write down what you are thankful for each week).

Rummuser – I was horrified to upgrade to 2.7, so I feel your pain.

Tess – Take in some sunshine for me!

Akemi – Thank you for being here and for being part of the CreateaBalance.com experience.

  • Good grief Stacey – I visited here half and hour ago and had a quick read, and came back to make a comment (and say I loved your new photo) – and you have CHANGED THEMES! You must be working pretty late at night!

I’m pleased to hear you are surviving the silly season OK – caffeine free and without too many bugs in the family – have a great 2009, Stacey!
