In my last post, I asked you to think about how you can find time to simply BE in the moment. For me, one way I can truly BE in the moment is with music.
Music removes brain clutter and gives me moments to rejuvenate within the busy life I lead.
Especially music that speaks to my authentic voice…
So I was thrilled when One2One Network invited me to review Joshua Bell’s new CD At Home With Friends. After a busy day filled with school, field trips, business meetings, cooking dinner for (wonderful) out of town guests, etc…my parents, my 2 boys, and I listened to this CD during dinner.
This was the first time in a long time that we ate dinner listening to calm relaxing music and the entire energy of the dinner was different because of this music.
It truly brought a new sense of calmness to dinner time and I was able to BE in the moment throughout the meal. Even my kids enjoyed listening to the beautiful music. Thank you Joshua Bell!

Joshua Bell is AMAZING. Did you know he played in a subway station for change and almost everybody ignored him because they HAVE NO SOUL and Joshua, please know that I would have totally stopped for you.

Not my kind of music to be honest but the whole initiative is looking very promising. It is important to do what You think is right to do and to listen to thing that You like no matter what other will say. So I hope that those serenades will make someone happy.
